    Prefer to give by phone? Call The Penn Fund office at (215) 898-8445 to make a gift using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card. Our team will be happy to assist you.

  • Give by Mail

    To give by mail, send a check or credit card information along with a printable pledge card to the address below. Checks should be made payable to Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Reunion Pledges

    Celebrating a milestone reunion? You can support your class giving campaign by making a multi-year pledge to The Penn Fund. Pledges can be paid over up to five years and are fully recognized for the total commitment during your reunion year.

    As payments are made in future years, you’ll continue to receive recognition for your ongoing support.

  • Recurring Gifts

    Set up a recurring gift to The Penn Fund on a monthly or annual schedule using your credit card. Recurring gifts are a convenient way to increase your impact over time by spreading payments throughout the year.

  • Matching Gifts

    Many employers will match your gift to The Penn Fund—doubling or even tripling your impact. To see if your company (or your partner’s) offers a matching gift program, search our matching gift directory.

  • Securities Gifts

    Making a gift of stock may offer tax advantages—talk with your financial advisor to learn more. To initiate a transfer, please complete our securities transfer form and share it with your broker. Be sure to also send a copy to Penn’s Securities Office via email or fax at (215) 573-5118.

  • Donor-Advised Funds or Private Foundation Gifts

    You can support The Penn Fund through a donor-advised fund (DAF) or private foundation gift.

    To recommend a gift through your DAF:

    1. Visit our secure online giving page.
    2. Select “Donor Advised Fund” as your gift type to use DAFpay.
    3. Log in to your DAF provider and complete your recommendation.

    To make a gift by mail:

    1. Contact your DAF or foundation administrator.
    2. Specify The Penn Fund as your gift designation.
    3. Use Penn’s Tax ID/EIN: 23-1352685.
    4. Make checks payable to Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania.
    5. Mail to:

  • Individual Retirement Account (IRA) Gifts

    If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift to The Penn Fund directly from your IRA. This Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if you’re 73 or older, and can be excluded from your taxable income—up to $108,000 annually.

    To start a QCD, send this sample letter to your IRA plan administrator.

    Please make checks payable to Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and include your name and “IRA” in the memo field.
