Penn’s Virtual Events and Programs

Stay engaged with your Penn Community online.

As the Penn community begins to grapple with the “new normal” of social isolation, Penn will continue to provide opportunities to socialize and gather – this time in a virtual space. Penn Alumni’s Virtual and Digital Resources webpage houses a collection of education and career networking opportunities, digital resources, and an up-to-date catalogue of virtual events and programs from across campus.

A highlight from the virtual events is Penn’s new adaptation of the annual Penn Relays. On April 24, the Relays’ traditional competitors of boys & girls’ high schools, collegiate divisions, and several Olympic Development athletes will team up with Penn students, faculty, alumni and parents to compete in a virtual race. Teams will be challenged to overcome a custom-built Minecraft course reminiscent of Franklin Field. Obstacles will include hurdles, water, lava, and an ice race in a boat. Spectators can tune in on Twitch.

The Penn Community is encouraged to keep checking the listings for upcoming Virtual Events and Programs as more will be added in the coming weeks. New events and programs will also be shared through Red & Blue Online, the alumni e-newsletter.
