To help alumni, parents, and friends stay connected to the University and each other, Penn has consolidated many of its digital resources into one easily accessible website. From staying connected with the University’s arts and culture community, such as the Penn Museum’s Daily Dig, to learning about new ways to connect with family, Penn’s digital resources can be helpful to alumni during this challenging period.
To stay up to date with Penn during the coronavirus outbreak, alumni can sign up for Knowledge for Good, the monthly newsletter of the Power of Penn Campaign, Penn Today, the daily e-newsletter from the University’s Communication’s office, or read about the research and teachings on the pandemic from the Penn Arts & Sciences COVID-19 News page. Alumni can also watch discussions with faculty following classes in Wharton’s new course, Epidemics, Natural Disasters, and Geopolitics: Managing Global Business and Financial Uncertainty which focuses on the economic impact and implications of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Penn has provided fun Zoom backgrounds from around campus, to make it feel like you’re there when you connect with friends and colleagues digitally. To feel even closer, alums can also go on a virtual tour which offers a 3D-view of the University and the nostalgia of visiting Penn for the first time.
