Penn is more than just an institution in Philadelphia. We are a worldwide network of students, alumni, parents, and friends who are making a difference in communities all over the world.
During this virtual semester, Penn Global has launched the Welcome and Inclusion Campaign to celebrate the members of our international community and ensure that no matter where they are, they feel connected to and supported by Penn.
As part of the Campaign, Penn Global is asking alumni to share their stories and messages of encouragement. Penn faculty and staff members have recorded videos and posted on Instagram using the hashtag #worldwidewelcometopenn. Penn Global also created a special video message, featuring Penn President Amy Gutmann, Provost Wendell Pritchett, and current students to welcome Penn’s international community to the start of the new academic year.

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services of Penn Global continues to serve this student and scholar population. Resources including recordings of Forerunner Global, an interactive introduction to Penn for incoming international students and families, are accessible through the division’s website. Alumni from anywhere in the world who wish to take part in the Welcome and Inclusion Campaign are encouraged to send their messages of support through this form.
