A word of motivation from former Seniors for The Penn Fund volunteers:
Margaux Dacremont-Kobouloff, W’25
Co-Chair from the Class of 2025
When I first arrived at Penn as a student from France, I knew no one and felt entirely on my own. But over time, I encountered extraordinary mentors who became lifelong friends, trusted role models, and sources of continuous inspiration. They opened doors to opportunities I had never envisioned—both professionally and personally—and profoundly shaped the trajectory of my life.
Penn has had a transformative impact on me. It has been far more than an academic institution; it has been a catalyst for growth, purpose, and direction. That is why I chose to join Seniors for The Penn Fund. For me, it represents a meaningful way to give back—to help ensure that future students can benefit from the same life-changing experiences. Supporting The Penn Fund means advancing Penn’s mission and helping to preserve the access, community, and opportunity that make this university so exceptional.
Aneesh Karuppur, W’25
Co-Chair from the Class of 2025
I found Penn to be unique in that there was a deep well of resources available for almost every field of inquiry and possible career path. With only a few years in college, I wasn’t able to personally take advantage of everything. But Penn’s environment made it so easy to connect with fellow students and leverage opportunities across engineering, humanities, and the arts, and I think I learned just as much from them as I did from my Wharton classes. From casual conversations with friends to formal programs and clubs, Penn added new perspectives and creative ideas to my own interests. I joined Seniors for The Penn Fund because I wanted to help further the interdisciplinary conversations and activities that enrich a Penn education.
Jaein Kim, C’25
Co-Chair from the Class of 2025
Coming from a public education and community college background, I have seen and felt just how incredible the impact of donations can be. The way that The Penn Fund works to enable future learners to stride forward, minimizing what financial obstacles they may face whilst at the same time maximizing their opportunities, is a truly remarkable thing. Being a part of the Seniors for The Penn Fund team has allowed me to get a glimpse of what exactly it means to join a community of brilliant and kind-hearted people, and to pay forward the deeds that have both directly and indirectly allowed me to flourish. It is a blessing and honor to be able to give back to a university that has lifted the lives and hearts of thousands who have called this campus home. Through The Penn Fund, I’m grateful to have fostered a closer relationship to a community that is not only my present, but my future as well.
