Data-driven approaches to criminal justice at Penn Law’s Quattrone Center

When errors or weaknesses appear at any level of the American criminal justice system, they are often not easily corrected or even identified. Such shortcomings can compromise the livelihood of those involved for years or perhaps decades to come.

At Penn Law’s Quattrone Center for the Fair Administration of Justice, legal experts led by executive director John F. Hollway are using data-driven approaches to identify those systematic failures—and in doing so, advance equity in the criminal justice system.

On October 16, Hollway will speak about his work at a Penn to You event in Chicago. Hollway joins fellow Penn faculty members Michael Kearns (Penn Engineering / Wharton) and William Noel (Penn Libraries) alongside moderator Constantia Constantinou, H. Carton Rogers III Vice Provost and Director of the Penn Libraries, at this exciting academic event.
