After consideration, The Penn Fund has decided to postpone our Giving Red and Blue Day campaign previously scheduled for Wednesday, March 18. As information and updates regarding COVID-19 continue to rapidly evolve, we appreciate your understanding of this change in events. We also remain grateful for all of the support from our deeply passionate Quaker community.
On Wednesday, March 18, Penn undergraduate alumni will unite for Giving Red and Blue Day to support the University and celebrate its world-class academic programs, innovative research, and transformational opportunities.
Now in its fifth year, Giving Red and Blue Day was created to raise funds for undergraduate financial aid, residential and campus life, and academic enhancement. These gifts are made to The Penn Fund, the University’s undergraduate annual giving program. Since 1927, The Penn Fund has had a substantial positive impact on the University’s growth and the experiences of Penn students by providing immediate support to the areas that are most in need.
This year, each gift from undergraduate alumni donors to The Penn Fund will be counted as one of the 6,000 needed to unlock a $600,000 matching challenge gift from the Executive Board. For this matching gift, it’s not the size of the donation that matters, but your decision to make one. By participating in this year’s Giving Red and Blue Day, you become a part of the collective impact needed to change the lives of undergraduate students.
Join your fellow alumni by making a gift on March 18! Gifts can be made through The Penn Fund’s online giving page or by contacting The Penn Fund team to find out how you can support the University.
