Getting to Campus

Campus is exceptionally accessible. With its proximity to various major highways and a multitude of bus, trolley, subway, and Regional Rail stops directly on campus, there are many ways to come visit your student!

Parking

If traveling to campus by car, you will find both metered and free street parking. Be sure to double-check the posted parking signs! Penn Transportation and Parking also operates visitor parking garages throughout campus.

Visiting the College Houses

If your student lives in a College House, they will need to register you as a guest in order for you to enter their room. This can be done ahead of time on the RHS portal or upon arrival at the College House Information Center. You will also need a photo ID to enter the building.

Traveling around Philly

Once on campus, you’ll be able to travel around Philadelphia with ease. Center City is only a short walk across the bridges spanning the Schuylkill River. There are also two trolley stops, two subways stops, and three bus lines on campus that you can use to explore the surrounding neighborhoods.
