  • About Giving Europe

Giving Europe is a partnership of leading European philanthropic organizations that coordinates cross-border giving.

If you’re a taxpayer (either an individual or organization) in one of the Giving Europe countries, you may benefit from the tax advantages provided by law in your country. To qualify for a potential tax advantage, you must make your gift to Penn through a Giving Europe foundation partner, which will transfer the gift to The University of Pennsylvania (USA) Foundation, Penn’s registered charity in the United Kingdom. The UK Foundation then grants the gift to Penn to your specified purpose.

*Please note, gifts given via Giving Europe are subject to each foundation partner’s acceptance policies, as well as a five percent Giving Europe operational fee on giving up to €100,000 and degressive fees for larger gifts.
