Corporate Relations

The Office of Corporate Relations centrally manages relationships between the University of Pennsylvania and corporations. Our office serves as a key entry point for companies looking to make contact with any part of the University, and we provide industry with information on Penn’s vast research enterprise and related programs. We work to establish new relationships with industry partners and maintain and expand existing relationships in a manner that is mutually beneficial.

The Office facilitates connections between the corporate community and all of Penn’s twelve Schools and numerous centers and institutes. Our priority is to build effective corporate partnerships with the University’s research-intensive professional schools: Perelman School of Medicine, School of Veterinary Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, and the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

As your University liaison, we can help you navigate Penn’s extensive research and educational resources and identify opportunities for synergistic partnerships. In the process, we can help you create and cultivate strategic relationships between your organization and the University. We encourage and facilitate campus visits to allow direct communication with leadership, faculty members and research staff.

As one of the nation’s leading research universities, Penn is distinguished by its programs in medicine, engineering, veterinary medicine, dental medicine, business, nursing, arts and sciences, design, social policy and law. Groundbreaking research is taking place across campus, and our faculty and staff collaborate with numerous companies on research projects from conceptualization through completion—developing well-defined protocols, milestones and deliverables. Companies can support Penn research in emerging fields and established technologies without having to make the significant capital investments required for operating a major internal research program. By collaborating with Penn, corporate partners ensure that pioneering studies develop into real-world applications.
